A SPECIAL GIFT OF LOVE TO ALL HUMANITY.

A SPECIAL GIFT OF LOVE TO ALL HUMANITY.

Undoubtedly, the best news of the century is the news of the completion of the raising of the Norte-Dame de Paris Cathedral from the ashes, this past weekend. What a magnificent five year feat by the combined efforts of humanity. Wow.❤️❤️❤️

Mike and I were in Paris in July 1968, en route to Canada, [our honeymoon trip] after our marriage in Mombasa , Kenya , in June. We saw the cathedral from the Bateaux Mouche … boat tour… on the Seine river, on the first night of our visit to Paris, and then again on the next morning via a bus/walking tour. The awesomeness of this magnificent cathedral only added to our amazement after visiting the Vatican….too amazing to describe in a few words. These wonders just grew with us as we encountered the many and wonderful gifts that we were so lucky to have received. My Dad called them ‘Blessings from heaven.’

Then came the horrific news of the devastating fire, five years ago. The world was shocked as were the people of Paris who rallied by the hundreds to save the precious contents of the cathedral, in the hopes of rebuilding the Precious House of God, in the future. But for the efforts of thousands of donors, artisans, artists, carpenters, painters, cleaners, including architects and scientists, we would have lost Norte-Dame forever.

We can thank President Emmanuel Macron for most positively injecting the concept that Notre-Dame de Paris could be rescued within five years, undoubtedly. Thus , five years later, and nine million/billion world donated dollars later, the world saw , via television, the reopening of that beloved Cathedral, as world leaders gathered in the newly renovated cathedral, to celebrate this wonderful achievement which had a modern twist … filled with light, magnificent sound via the church organ which was summoned to wake up again and accompany the angelic choirs that filled the cathedral with beautiful songs of praise and glory. The renovation has exceeded all expectations. Wish I could go back to see it in person. Ha.

The BBC news channels gave us the most intensive look into this wonderful miracle of humanity’s most impressive show of love, cooperation, and FAITH IN GOD’S BLESSINGS, which is this century’s best achievement. Blessings. Blessings. Blessings !!! Ours too.

Then, on Sunday, before Mass started, came the never before seen Installation of the unusually designed altar which reflected the baptismal font found at the entrance of the church…. It was the centrepiece of the restoration ….what an inspiration….what a gift. Pope Francis’ greeting was read, and how I wished I could have been there too. Mike now in heaven, since 2020, surely must have been there too, singing God’s praises and remembering that once upon a time event in 1968. Ha.

If you have any time to spare, please don’t hesitate to seek out those BBC coverages….you will not regret it. Congratulations BBC.

Finally, I must declare, that Monsieur President Emmanuel Macron deserves the Nobel peace prize for his magnificent foresight and dedication to the restoration of our Notre Dame Cathedral, for it is a universal gift that has uplifted the world e’en in our troubled times where hatred, war and greed seem to be overwhelming the news everyday. God surely loves us, despite ourselves and the evil that is out there. Thank you God. We love You.

In conclusion, all I can say is THANK YOU. MERCI BEAUCOUP. ASANTE SANA. DIEU BOREM CORUN…..

AND:-

‘ Salute Monsieur Emmanuel Macron et Merci beaucoup. God bless.’
‘ Viva Notre Dame et Notre Dame de Paris. VIVA !’

All my love and blessings. God bless.
