To my dearest family,
Yvette & Family, Benito & Betty & Family, Annabella & Alexander & Family, Jerome, Ann & Family,
I wish to share some news with you. I have written a novel and the setting is Zanzibar.
It was released in Canada & USA on Friday by Kindle Publishing, Amazon...and will go world wide on Friday this coming week.
Unfortunately, I have not yet seen the final draft of the book except for the proof copy. I had to make changes and I have not yet seen the final draft.... which is being sent to me. Has not yet arrived.
For this reason, I cannot mail you a copy yet as I wish to see the actual book to make sure that everything is okay the way I want it to be. However, much to my surprise, it has already been published!
When I see the book I will then order each of you a copy which I will mail to you. Okay?
I am writing this letter to let you know about the book before anybody else knows about it. It was my intention to send it to you my family, first, but somehow the book got released very quickly after I made the final changes to my cover.
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy the revisit to our warm and beloved island of Zanzibar ....during these cold, wintry days!!
Much love and blessings,
RhodaB 🌹

My dearest Rhoda,
CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS. AM VERY/SUPER PROUD OF YOU. WONDERFUL. GOD BLESS.
Both Mum and Dad were very good/excellent writers, and Mum was the poet/artist/ story writer par excellence, winning numerous good awards when she was in school in Bangalore, complemented by Dad ‘s journalism and mastery with words. So you, Ben, Annabel, Jerome and hopefully moi, we’re blest with similar gifts. How lucky we all are.
Let us continue to use our talents in complimenting our dearest gifted parents. Congratulations and many successes Rhoda. Canada and the British Empire will be ever-so-proud of you. Well done.
Looking forward to receiving your wonderful book, dearest baby sister. Your talents supersede inherited gifts. Keep up the great work.
Hope you win the Nobel prize for literature, and the Canadian Booker Prize and all the British awards too. God bless.
Love you.
Yvette and Family.❤️😇🙏😇❤️

Well spoken Jerome. We feel so proud. Cannot wait to read as Zanzibar is very special to me in every way. If only I were a writer I could/would write all. Titled perhaps ‘The Wild Man from Zanzibar’ to include special friends!!
Congratulations and celebrations Little Sister Rhoda. You've done it , at last we have a budding writer in the family and our dad and mum would be so proud of you especially dad who always aspired to be a great writer.
Now you have done it for him and whole De Souza family. Welldone and all the very best in the future.
Tc and lots of love ❤️ from brother Jerome and Ann
